TESTMONIES

I commissioned Jon and had a positive experience that I wanted to share.

I noticed his portfolio because he was great at creating psychological weather in a piece. His compositions feel like a snapshots from a story, with strong staging, meaningful props, and symbolism that stays readable without becoming heavy handed. He can handle emotionally raw subject matter with care, and it does not slip into cheap shock. He is well suited to single image-illustration and cover-style work where tone and emotion are priority.

Working with him was a pleasure. He is easy to talk and I look forward to our conversations. He is very patient and thorough during the contract phase and took the time to understand terms instead of rushing to sign.

He stayed on schedule and was consistent to his portfolio

I recommend him to future clients. I would be happy to work with him again.

From Emery Lun

Jonathan is an amazing artist whose paintings captured my soul and spirit when I first saw a collection of his paintings several years ago! So…what did I do? Of course I commissioned him to paint two large 5’x4’ paintings, which reflected my Japanese cultural heritage…paintings of my 4th generation samurai great grandfather and my maternal great grandmother. Jonathan first provided sketches and then painted exactly what I wanted, all along making changes I requested. His art is not at all commercial, it’s personal because he knows how to capture facial emotions and the soul of the people he paints. I consider Jonathan a gifted artist  like no other. I’m sooo happy to let the world know about this creative artist like no other, yet he is so humble when he paints like a genius! I now consider him a friend whose talent has blessed my home. Like I said, he’s an amazing artist, plus a wonderful human being! Thank you Jonathan!”

From Laurie

This artist pours an extraordinary amount of passion and care into every painting. Each piece is rich with detail, capturing the subject’s essence in a way that is breathtaking from both up close and across the room. I own several of his works, all displayed proudly in my home, and they continue to look as vibrant as the day I received them. The paintings are expertly sealed- despite years of display, direct sunlight, dust, and multiple moves, there has been absolutely no sign of aging or wear.

Every piece evokes such beauty and emotion, and I am consistently amazed by each new creation. I cannot recommend this artist highly enough- commissioning a piece from him is an experience you will never regret.
